Tortugas and Dunedin Postponed Wednesday; Doubleheaders on Thursday and Saturday

DAYTONA BEACH, FL—Due to lingering weather effects from Hurricane Idalia, the Daytona Tortugas have elected to postpone the Wednesday, August 30th game against the Dunedin Blue Jays out of caution to all players, fans, and staff. In conjunction with Tuesday's postponement, the two teams will play doubleheaders of two seven-inning

DAYTONA BEACH, FL—Due to lingering weather effects from Hurricane Idalia, the Daytona Tortugas have elected to postpone the Wednesday, August 30th game against the Dunedin Blue Jays out of caution to all players, fans, and staff.

In conjunction with Tuesday's postponement, the two teams will play doubleheaders of two seven-inning games on Thursday, August 31 and Saturday, September 2. Both doubleheaders will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the second game scheduled to begin approximately 40 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

Friday, September 1's Margaritaville Night and Hawaiian Shirt Giveaway remains scheduled for a single game at 6:35 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. while Sunday, September 3rd's Fan Appreciation Day and Shelldon's Family Fun Day is still set for 5:00 p.m. with gates at 4:00 p.m.

Gates for both Thursday and Saturday's doubleheaders will open at 3:00 p.m. Our final fan-selected bobblehead giveaway scheduled for Saturday will begin when gates open at 3:00, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a voucher for a bobblehead that can be picked up on the riverwalk. Thursday will remain a Thirsty Thursday as well.

Fans with tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday's game may redeem their tickets at the Jackie Robinson Ballpark box office or Tortugas front office for one of equal or lesser value to any remaining Tortugas game throughout the rest of this homestand, which is the final one of the 2023 regular season.

All tickets for Thursday and Saturday's games, whether purchased earlier or exchanged from Tuesday or Wednesday, are good for both games on their respective dates.
