Credentials are available upon request for working media. Requests should be received no later than 24 hours prior to the specified game date. Under no circumstances are media credentials to be transferred from person-to-person without the expressed permission of the Louisville Bats Media Relations Department. Violation of this policy may result in confiscation of the violator's media credential for the remainder of the season. Credentials may be picked up at the Louisville Slugger Field suite lobby desk inside the Main Street entrance on gamedays starting two hours prior to first pitch or earlier by request.
The Louisville Bats' press box is open to working media with credentials only. Phone and wireless internet services are available.
Media packets, game notes, statistics and press releases will be made available to working media only in the press box two hours prior to the start of every game.
Photographers may shoot from the open areas at the far end of either dugout and from the tunnel behind home plate.
Both the home and visiting clubhouses can be accessed by taking the main elevator to the basement level. The Bats' Clubhouse is open to the media except one hour prior to game time and during the game. The clubhouse is open 15 minutes following all games, but will be closed during rain delays and between games of a doubleheader. The Visiting Clubhouse is governed by the visiting manager.
The coaching staff and players will be available on the field and in the clubhouse immediately following batting practice. Interviews may in no way interrupt pregame routines (stretching, hitting, running, infield, etc.). Pregame interviews should be completed 45 minutes prior to the game. The coaching staff and players will be available in the clubhouse following games. Interview requests must be set up through the Bats' Media Relations Department by contacting (502) 212-2287.
Only properly credentialed media members may gain access to the playing field. The field entrance is located directly behind home plate.
