♦ Acquired by Baltimore in a trade with Atlanta, along with RHP Evan Phillips, RHP Bruce Zimmerman and IF Jean Carlos Encarnacion, in exchange for RHP Kevin Gausman and RHP Darren O'Day, 7/31/18.
♦ Originally selected by Atlanta in the 2nd round (76th overall) of the 2016 draft.
♦ Attended the University of California, Berkley, where he was named the Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year during his sophomore season (2016). Hit .344 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI that season, leading the Pac-12 in home runs while ranking second in RBI. He also earned second team All-America honors that season from the ABCA and third team All-America honors from Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
♦ Was named All-District Baseball Player of the Year his senior season at Turlock High School (CA), hitting .410 and helping the Bulldogs to the Central California Conference title in 2014.
